Search Engine Page Rankings Rise As You Add Optimized Content
Valuable Information That Is Relevant To Your Visitiors Is The Surest Way To Get Noticed
Many people still think it'll be productive to slap up a website and wait for people to find it buy their stuff. Sorry. That's not how the game works. I wish it was easier. I really do. But, in order to have your website rise steadily in its search engine page rankings, it takes time, patience and quality content. A site's page ranking is determined by multiple factors. But the key to getting to the top of the page and staying there is valuable and well-written content thatis focused on a keyword that will be researched by your target market. You have to add to your content consistently. You can update and change up your existing content. That will cause the page to be re-indexed and get noticed. But consistently dripping new material is the most effective method. And, yes, itdoes require work.
Buzz Building Activities For High Profile Visibility
One of the problems with internet marketing is that there are so many effective strategies that it can be hard to know which tool to use at what stage of the site's development.Multiple formats can further confuse. Here is a sample of some of the ways to add content: - Blogging
- Articles
- Press Releases
- eBooks
- Teleseminars
- Special Reports
- Industry Tips
- eZines or Newsletters
Sure, this stuff all works. But, it's most effective to design a strategy and a plan to implement it.
Create A System For Adding New Information Whether You Do It Yourself Or Hire Someone
Many of the entrepreneurs I build sites for think that they will save money by adding their own content. It's a great concept, but it usually doesn't work out. I enjoy showing them how to do the work. It isn't really hard to add pages or articles. But, it is time-consuming. Thinking up concepts, writing them up and posting them takes focus and commitment. It isn't something many business owners enjoy or excel at. It's easy to let it slide and do it less frequently that is recommended (a page a week or every other week is minimal). So, after a few tries, they give up and just hope that their site will magically attract the visitors they hope for. Doesn't happen. I encourage people to either hire a search engine marketing professional to get the work done or have them train someone in-house to do it for the business owner. If no one is currently in a position to take over those responsibilities, there are manyqualified virtual assistants who can be hired. It's not difficult to elevate your search engine page rankings, someone just needs to do it correctly and consistently.
